The Opportunity:
Are you a passionate and enthusiastic person who wants to make a difference in the lives of children and their families within our community?
Junction has an opportunity available to join our team in the form of a Crèche Worker, in this role, you will engage and develop meaningful solid relationships with children and families by creating a stimulating and positive learning environment for children in our new Young Parents Program. This role will be located at Christie Downs or Fullarton with occasional work at Hackham Community Centre. You will actively engage with children to role model appropriate play and deliver play sessions with developmentally appropriate activities across all developmental domains.
Drawing from your prior experience in childcare/playgroup settings, you will be able to deliver a variety of play sessions that support positive parenting, create opportunities for socialisation, enriched play, and healthy nutrition and make a positive impact on children, their families, and our community. You will be a valued member of our thriving team which plays an integral role in delivering quality support services in the Southern region for families.
About you:
We are seeking a highly motivated person who:
- Has experience working in a childcare or playgroup setting
- Possesses an understanding of child behavioural management strategies
- Has demonstrated knowledge of safe food handling techniques
- Holds a Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

You Will Need To:

- Hold or be willing to obtain a current Working with Children Check
- Hold or be willing to obtain a current Child Safe Environments Certificate
- Hold a current unencumbered Australian driver’s license and be willing to drive
- Undergo pre-employment testing as part of the recruitment process
