Expression of Interest - Therapeutic Youth Worker

SCHaDS Crisis Accommodation Employee Level 1

48 hours (0.63 FTE), Ongoing position starting from 1 June 2024

Your work to provide a safe, secure environment and commitment to empowering clients to improve their confidence and develop positive attitudes builds strength and resilience in those in our care. We appreciate all that you do.

We are currently looking to fill a vacant shift line within Rosella House (Line 1). The shifts available are as follows:

Week 1

Saturday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Sunday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Monday: 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Tuesday: 3:30 pm to 10:30 pm, plus sleepover
Wednesday: 6:30 am to 9:00 am

Week 2

Wednesday: 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm
Thursday: 3:30 pm to 10:30 pm, plus sleepover
Friday: 6:30 am to 9:00 am 
 

Selection will be made on a merit basis and will include consideration of your past and current performance in the Therapeutic Youth Worker role, experience working at the relevant house and demonstrated relationship with the young people and, your responses in the application process. 

Please note contract could start earlier than 1 June 2024, if needed.
