Domestic & Family Violence Case Manager

Full Time (1.0 FTE), Fixed-term contract through until 30 June 2026

The Opportunity: 

The Domestic & Family Violence Case Manager will work with individuals who are victim-survivors and their children who are at risk of or are experiencing domestic and family violence in the Fleurieu Region.  The Case Manager will provide specialised case management and support responses.  This role also oversees the Safe at Home (SAH) service to assist clients who are experiencing or have experienced domestic and family violence to remain safely in their home, through the coordination of upgrades to property security, safety planning and connecting clients with additional support services as required.

 

About You:

We are seeking a highly motivated person who: 

  • Holds a Diploma in Community Services or Diploma in Child, Youth and Family Intervention Services or equivalent or substantial experience in the field
  • Has an understanding of relevant statutory requirements and legislation relating to domestic and family violence
  • Has demonstrated high level of case management experience in supporting individuals, children and young people who have experienced domestic violence 
  • Has an understanding of social justice principles – including equity of access, discrimination and equal opportunity, individuals rights and privacy
  • Possesses strong initiative with ability to plan and manage complex caseloads

 You Will Need To:  

  • A satisfactory Working with Children Check (WWCC) must be completed, prior to commencing employment 
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Child Safe Environments Certificate 
  • Hold a current unencumbered Australian driver's license and be willing to drive
