The Opportunity:

If so, we're excited to offer several opportunities for Housing Managers, including full-time and part-time roles for ongoing and fixed-term periods. These positions provide flexible work options, perfect for those seeking either full-time or part-time opportunities, and offer a chance to make a significant impact. As a Housing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tenancy management services and achieving key service delivery outcomes.

In this role, you will manage lease agreements and extensions, conduct routine inspections, and handle arrears management. You will also address tenancy or neighbourhood issues promptly, support the Housing Portfolio Managers with tenant feedback, and represent Junction at SACAT hearings.

About You:

We are seeking a highly passionate person who: 

  • Has experience in managing a residential tenancy portfolio, in the Community Housing sector or Property sector and knowledge of tenancy management principles  
  • Possesses strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and negotiation skills which have been demonstrated at an operational level
  • Has an understanding of community engagement principles and demonstrated experience in trauma-informed practice
  • Can prioritise workload, work independently and as part of a team
  • Has experience in working in partnership with tenants to overcome barriers to sustain their tenancy obligations.
  • Holds a degree or tertiary qualifications in either Property, Social Work, Business Administration, or relevant equivalent (or lesser qualification complemented by substantial relevant experience)
