Part-time (0.4 FTE), Fixed-term backfill contract until January 2026

The Opportunity: 

We are pleased to offer an exciting internal opportunity for a Domestic & Family Violence Case Manager on a fixed-term, part-time contract. This vital role spans two separately funded programs and plays a key part in enhancing the safety and wellbeing of women and children affected by domestic and family violence.

As Case Manager, you will provide direct support and information to clients who are currently experiencing or have previously experienced domestic violence. A core component of the role includes facilitating the ‘Safe at Home’ service, which supports women and children to remain safely in their homes. This involves coordinating property security upgrades, developing safety plans, and connecting clients with additional support services as needed.

 

About You:

We are seeking a highly passionate person who: 

  • Has a high level of case management in supporting women, children and young people who have experienced domestic violence
  • Possesses sound communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and establish rapport with clients, staff, and external agencies
  • Has an understanding of risk assessments and safety management planning
  • Has strong initiative with the ability to plan and manage complex caseloads
  • Understands relevant statutory requirements and legislation relating to domestic and family violence
  • Holds a Diploma in Community Services or a Diploma in Child, Youth and Family Intervention Services or equivalent or substantial experience in the field

You Will Need To:

  • Hold or be willing to obtain a current Safe Environments Certificate
  • Hold a current unencumbered Australian driver’s license and be willing to drive
  • Undergo pre-employment testing as part of the recruitment process
