The Opportunity:
Are you a passionate and enthusiastic individual looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? Junction Australia is excited to offer a new opportunity for the role of Administration Officer – Program Support at our Kangaroo Island Community Centre.
As the primary point of contact, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring positive first impressions for our community members, staff, and visitors.
We are looking for a friendly, courteous, and professional individual to join our team and provide exceptional reception and program administration services. The key responsibilities of this role include maintaining an active presence at the reception desk, and promptly responding to inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email. You will be the go-to person for providing information on community programs and support options to members of the public. One of the most rewarding aspects of this role is supporting our valuable volunteers, you will be involved in their onboarding and compliance training and also provide reports on their hours to recognise their dedication.

Our Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a highly motivated, caring person who:
- Has demonstrated experience in performing reception duties in a medium-sized organisation
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
- Has the ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, use initiative, and work independently and as part of a team
- Holds experience in record keeping, ideally to meet regulatory compliance
- Demonstrates a strong connection to Kangaroo Island or a clear understanding of the unique complexities of island living

You Will Need To:
